The Culpeper Road Runners
since 1996

Please extend a warm welcome to our new club Vice President.
Jason Cook.  Jason is a  graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with  a
B.S.  in Recreation and Leisure Administration/Therapeutic Recreation. He
has a passion for life, sports, and a vision to "see this club develop into a
formidable team that will make its presence along with Culpeper known
throughout the Eastern United States running world." yeah!  That statement
alone will get you an officer's seat!

Jason has  captained York College's Cross Country and Track Teams,
he is an Academic All American, MVP. 2001-2002 , York College Gold Award Winner
and  first York runner  to win the  York Invitational.  Stretching  way
over 6 feet tall Jason's running stride is  graceful, smooth and effortless  (he would deny this) and  you can find him striding along West Street and Blue Ridge in downtown  Culpeper on any given day. He is real friendly and  will almost never turn you
down for an afternoon casual run in the park (casual for him, work for you and me!)

Jason  is currently the  Program and Facilities Supervisor
for the Culpeper County Parks and Recreation Department and doing
a swell job of  implementing many new programs for our community
youth and adults alike.  He looks forward to meeting fellow runners
at future running events, so be sure to come out and introduce yourself!
